Our story

WADI+WAVE is more than just a home decor brand. It's the creative vision of Qais Sarhan and Eoin Rodgers, a couple who bring together contrasting worlds to create something uniquely harmonious.

Eoin and Qais met in London and have been married since 2013.

Where East Meets West

As our name suggests, WADI+WAVE represents the beautiful convergence of landscapes and cultural backgrounds. Wadi, representing the sun-drenched valleys of Jordan, brings the rich textures and warm hues of the Middle East. Wave, embodying the rugged coastlines of Ireland, contributes the cool tones and flowing patterns of the Atlantic.

This fusion isn't just in our brand name but our life and relationship. Our different backgrounds and perspectives create the perfect creative tension that makes our collections truly special.

Qais is the artistic force behind WADI+WAVE's distinctive aesthetic.

Born and raised in Jordan, he brings Middle Eastern influences and a deep appreciation for bold colours and striking contrasts to every piece.

With over 12 years as a professional animator and illustrator, Qais has developed a playful, engaging style characterised by vibrant colours and tactile textures. His background in motion design helps him see spaces as dynamic environments where every element tells part of a larger story.

When not creating art for WADI+WAVE, Qais can be found experimenting with new illustration techniques, collecting vintage design books, or exploring the English countryside for fresh inspiration.

Eoin brings the practical expertise to realise the WADI+WAVE brand

With Irish roots, he contributes a perspective shaped by the dramatic Atlantic coastlines and the rich cultural heritage of Ireland.

A natural connector with a passion for design, Eoin handles the business side of WADI+WAVE while collaborating closely with Qais to ensure each curated piece complements the artistic vision of the collection.

Eoin's background in marketing equipped him with the skills to build a brand that balances artistic vision with practical functionality. His appreciation for objects that are both beautiful and purposeful influences every product selection.

When not working on WADI+WAVE, Eoin enjoys weight training, fashion, cuisine and traveling - always with an eye for new pieces that might inspire future collections.

Our Process

Every WADI+WAVE collection begins with a shared experience or inspiration. Our debut collection, Rum was inspired by Jordan's Wadi Rum. The otherworldly landscape – often used as a filming location for Mars movies – captivates with its dramatic red sands and striking geological formations.

Qais's original artworks become the foundation for our selection of complementary home decor pieces. We believe in creating collections that tell a cohesive story while allowing individual expression.
